IPA Diversity Questionnaire

IPA DIVERSITY QUESTIONNAIRE

IPA is striving to meet the needs of psychologists and their clients in Idaho. In collaboration with APA’s Diversity Task Force, IPA is interested in enhancing the knowledge base and skills of Idaho psychologists regarding competency in addressing cultural diversity issues in all professional services they provide.  IPA is also interested in increasing the representation of psychologists from culturally diverse groups in IPA membership and leadership positions. The term “cultural diversity” implies not only membership to a particular racial/ethnic group but also to issues impacting members of all under-represented groups in psychology, including but not limited to those of Religious Diversity, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered Community, and those who are differently abled. In all that we do, we want to be sensitive to and inclusive of all members. We fully acknowledge the relevance of all groups and the myriad of issues impacting these groups.

We welcome YOUR input in helping us formulate our future plans to accomplish the goals stated above.  To that end, this needs assessment survey aims to understand what multicultural issues exist for Idaho psychologists and their clients. We hope to gain information that will help us better understand needs, resources, and opportunities to improve multicultural competency in our state.

The results of this survey will be made available on our website. Thank you in advance for contributing to this endeavor. Should you have questions or comments regarding the survey, please contact Diana Menchaca, Diversity Representative for IPA at dmenchaca@balanceassociates.org or by phone at 208-898-0926.
