STUDENT Scholarship information
To encourage Idaho's psychology students to experience the value of connecting with their future colleagues via their professional association, IPA members have initiated a scholarship program, funded by their personal contributions, to support student involvement. Awards cover half of a student's IPA membership dues and/or half of the early student registration fee for IPA's Annual Convention. All awards are based upon availability of funding and the number of requests.
Criteria
Applicant must be a:
- full-time psychology major, graduate or undergraduate, currently matriculating at an institution of higher education in Idaho; or
- a pre-doc psychology student working on internship; or
- a post-doc but pre-license completing post-doc supervision hours.
To Apply
Please complete this scholarship application request form. Timing is everything! Please read details below on when to submit your request.
Scholarship Requests for Dues: Requests for dues scholarships are reviewed throughout the year and should be submitted at the time of application for membership. If dues are paid in full and your scholarship is approved, IPA will reimburse you for the difference. If you opt to "invoice and pay later" when completing the membership application, we will provide instructions on how to submit a partial dues payment if your scholarship is approved.
Scholarship Requests for Convention Registration: Requests for convention registration scholarships are reviewed once per year and should be submitted after February 15 and no later than March 15 (JUST EXTENDED TO APRIL 24 FOR CONVENTION 2023!) to be considered.
Thank you for your interest in IPA! If you have any questions, please contact our office.
